Aluwindows24—Windows in Production

Technology, Know-How and Precision

The production of aluminum/aluminium windows, doors and facades takes place in a classic metal-working factory setting.Yet state-of-the-art systems, high-quality surface coating facilities, the right glass selection for your building project and  true manpower are needed for aluminum/aluminium window fabrication—true know-how. And unlike the traditional plastic or wood-frame windows, more than just metal working expertise is necessary for the manufacture of aluminum/aluminium windows. The manufacture of aluminum/aluminium window begins after the coating of the aluminum/aluminium profile bars with the fusion of the materials.

Aluminium Window Thermic Isolation
Aluminium Optimization Process
In that regard, the thermal separation function of aluminum/aluminium windows that the windows need to fulfill for insulation requires that the aluminum/aluminium be processed to form a composite with the polyamide or polythermid. In addition, the profiles are provided with additional insulation as necessary to meet any special insulation requirements. Then, the prepared profiles are deflected in the sawing process and processed into individual profile bars. Here, depending on the type of construction, 45° miters, butt joints or calculated free cuts can be ordered. The cut-to length profiles are further processed according to any necessary machining requirements. Corresponding openings and bearings for fitting and functional parts are provided. At this stage, processing must be done with strict care and in accordance with very close tolerances. The smallest errors or deviations can cause malfunctions later or even uselessness.

Aluminium Window Fittings
After the sawing and milling processes, the pressing of aluminum casement follows in a further step. Here, the actual aluminum/aluminium window sub-frame emerges from single composite rods. After the frame is provided with the necessary fittings, it is assembled with its counterpart, and possibly supplemented by technical or electrical auxiliary components. Only now does the functional part as a “window without glass” come into being, which can then either be glazed directly or completed at the place of construction as a complete functioning window.
